Palm Beach County is home to some of the most unique sports venues in the country. In this off-site experience, you’ll have the chance to visit one of them through an interactive session at the National Polo Center, home to the U.S. Polo Association and spanning nearly 250 acres. Guests will be invited into the 7th Chukker Club, including its library and trophy displays before getting an opportunity to experience aspects of the game first hand. At interactive stations, you’ll get an up-close view of the sport’s most important athlete — the horse! You’ll also be introduced to the foot mallet and get some coaching through some practice shots. And you’ll mount a wooden horse and compete to see who can make the longest shot for the chance at some USPA merchandise. Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the new ways one of the oldest sports is thrilling fans.
This optional experience is included with your TEAMS registration, but an RSVP is required.
Please be sure to wear soft-soled, close-toed shoes. Buses will depart at 1:00 p.m. for the National Polo Center.
This happy hour will be an opportunity for sports-organization representatives to connect with each other in a relaxed, informal setting at Steel Tie Spirits Co., a distillery located near Grandview Public Market in the heart of the West Palm Beach Warehouse District. With an up-close view of the distilling floor, you can sit back and enjoy hand-crafted cocktails as you network with your fellow rights holder attendees.

Climate change and environmental impact are becoming necessary conversations in all walks of life, and especially so when it comes to sports events in the Olympic and Paralympic movement. The Closing General Session will set the stage for next year’s TEAMS. Attendees will receive a special invitation to TEAMS ‘24, September 23–26, 2024, in Anaheim. And you'll also get an update on future plans for the Sports Events & Tourism Association.
Afterward, our concluding session will focus on youth sports, which represent the largest segment of the sports-events industry. Keeping kids safe while they are involved in those sports has become an increasingly difficult yet crucial task. Recent high-profile situations with Damar Hamlin and Bronny James have underscored the need for venues and organizations to have plans in place to keep athletes safe on the field — and the same holds true for youth sports. As National Youth Sports Week turns its attention to athlete safety, we dive into ways organizations are tackling the subject. What strategies should sports organizations, host cities and venues deploy to ensure players’ needs are being met? In this session, hear from industry leaders on what it means to keep participants safe to ensure the ultimate goal that they have fun and take away the best of what sports have to offer.
Come celebrate the end of TEAMS ’23, courtesy of our future host cities, as we look forward to TEAMS ’24 and beyond! We’re planning a fun night of food, games and entertainment at E.R. Bradley’s Saloon, the landmark bar and restaurant on the West Palm Beach waterfront at the city’s backyard. The venue is the home of good times and named for Colonel E.R. Bradley, who built a turn-of-the-century beach club that inspired a modern-day landmark — one that is both a place of celebration and a place to relax in the spirit of the Palm Beaches.
And make sure to be on hand at 8:30 p.m. for the announcement of the winners of the Event Organizer Contest, who will take home a total of $5,000 in cash prizes!
