Virginia Sung became the CEO of USA Table Tennis in May 2019. An experienced and successful businesswoman in the private sector, Sung was the founder and CEO of many companies in China prior to joining USATT and has extensive experience in marketing and finance. Sung currently serves as the president of the North American Table Tennis Union, vice president of the Pan American Table Tennis Federation, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Chief Executives for Sports. Sung was on the U.S. Women’s National Team from 1993–2001 and represented the U.S. in four World Championships. In August 2022, Sung was elected among her NGB colleagues to the USOPC Board. Her four-year term starts January 2023.
