Tommy O’Hare served as the 2026 Sports & Special Events Director for the City of San José, spearheading the city's comprehensive strategy, operations, marketing, and fundraising across landmark events including NWSL Championship Week, Super Bowl LX, NCAA March Madness, and the FIFA World Cup. Under his leadership, the initiative successfully raised over $10 million and welcomed more than one million attendees across 104 World Cup Watch Parties.

With more than 20 years of executive experience at the intersection of sports, media, and technology, Tommy has held prominent roles with Google/YouTube, the International Olympic Committee, Warner Bros./Discovery, and the LA Clippers. A former elite athlete, he competed in the 1998 Olympic Winter Games in speedskating, finishing 6th and receiving the Olympic Diploma. Tommy is also a licensed attorney in the State of California.
