Sunil Sabharwal has a distinguished career as a financial services executive and investor gained at organizations such as GE Capital/GE Equity and First Data/Western Union. He also served as a Senate‐confirmed U.S. board member to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He is currently on the board of a number of FinTech companies, including Thunes and Finexio, and is an adviser to the Blackstone Growth Equity fund. He is a Big Ten champion, NCAA All‐American fencer, and has been involved in leadership and board functions at a number of sports organizations including USA Fencing, the FIE, World Athletics, the LA28 bid committee, and is a member of the IOC’s Sports & Sustainability commission. He also serves as secretary general of the International Fair Play Committee.
