A 19-plus year veteran of NBC Sports, Ron Vaccaro currently serves as Vice President, Editorial for NBC Sports, encompassing the editorial research, writing and publishing teams across NBC Sports, Olympics & Paralympics and Golf linear and digital platforms. Vaccaro has worked on-site at 10 Olympic Games, beginning in Athens, and has twice worked the Super Bowl and Winter Games in the same year (2018 and 2022). Recently, he has helped lead the integration of NBC Sports’ digital and linear teams into one content team. A 10-time Sports Emmy Award recipient, Vaccaro began his career at NBC working as an assistant to longtime Olympic programming executive Peter Diamond. He is a 2004 graduate of Yale University with honors in political science.
