Oksana Masters is the most decorated U.S. Winter Paralympian in history. She has dominated in four different sports: rowing, cycling, cross-country skiing, and biathlon. Born in Ukraine with radiation-induced birth defects, Masters was adopted at age 7 and eventually needed both legs amputated above the knee, plus extensive hand surgeries. At the Milan Cortina Games in 2026 she took home four more golds and a bronze, bringing her Paralympic Games totals to 24 Paralympic medals, 13 gold.
