Mike Mason is a 30-year events and hospitality veteran, recognized by Successful Meetings magazine as one of the “Top 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry.” As general manager of Alliance Reservations Network, Mason leads product development, sales, and marketing for the company’s sports management and travel software, Group Productivity Solution (GPS). This platform simplifies events from start to finish with tools for everything, from team registration and multi-venue scheduling to group housing and analytics – on one platform. Previously, he was vice president of hospitality solutions at Aventri, a global enterprise event technology provider, where he oversaw the company’s solutions to streamline venue sourcing while capturing data to increase event return on investment.
Mason joined Aventri through the acquisition of Zentila, a company he founded in 2012 and led as CEO. The SaaS platform helps planners manage and track meeting spend. Earlier in his career, he was senior vice president of sales and marketing for Gaylord Hotels. Today, he draws on his background to streamline technology for sports event organizers and travel planners.
