Michelle Moultrie joined Team USA in 2011 as one of the top players in college softball and is one of two stalwarts who have remained on the team since. Competing at a time when the Olympic dream was deemed nonexistent with the sport’s exclusion from the 2012 and 2016 Games, the University of Florida graduate chose to return and was selected every season. In the past nine years, she contributed to the U.S. claiming two gold and two silver world championship medals, as well as two Pan American Games titles. Moultrie was selected to the U.S. Olympic Team in October 2019 ahead of the sport’s long-awaited return. Through the recently formed Athletes Unlimited, Moultrie has been able to compete and showcase the game of softball in a year of much uncertainty.
