Luchie Javelosa has been in the tourism industry for more than six years and is currently the senior sports sales manager at the Tempe Tourism Office. Prior to joining TTO in November 2021, Javelosa served as the director of sports for Visit Tucson. She has and currently serves on numerous Sports ETA communities to include: Co-lead for the Young Professionals Community, DEI Community, and the State Association Leaders Group. In October 2021, she was named the Young Professional of the Year at the Sports ETA Symposium. She is a certified Sports Tourism Strategist through Sports ETA and a Sports Diversity Leader – Travel through Compete Sports Diversity. In her spare time, she enjoys being active, weightlifting or spending time outdoors. She also loves to travel and currently plans to complete the Tour du Mont Blanc within the next few years.
