Josh Todd has 15 years’ experience in the sports, events and sports tourism industry and took over the helm of the Omaha Sports Commission in February 2018. In 2021, Omaha will become the first city to ever host Olympic Trials in both Summer (swimming, June) and Winter (curling, November) Olympic Games. Prior to Omaha, Todd worked with the Huddle Up Group sports consulting firm and spent six years as the director of Sports in Mesa, Arizona, where he helped put Mesa on the sports map and orchestrated over $250 million in economic impact through newly booked sporting events. His well-rounded experience also includes work in collegiate athletics, parks and recreation, Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports, as well as coaching high school football. Todd has served on boards and committees such as Sports ETA, the Phoenix Sports Commission, the College Football National Championship Game & NCAA Final Four host committees, the Arizona Leadership Foundation and the Omaha Metropolitan Hospitality Association.
