Director of Events, Olympic Regional Development Authority
Jeremy Freeman was named the director of events for the Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) in the fall of 2021. In his two years at ORDA, he has overseen a number of highly successful domestic and international competitions in winter sports; including an IBSF World Cup Bobsled/Skeleton, ISU World Synchronized Figure Skating and FIS Men’s Ski Jumping World Cup to name just a few. He joined the ORDA staff after serving in several administrative roles at St. Lawrence University over a career spanning 22 years. He spent 14 years as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach, 12 years as the operations manager for Appleton Arena, home of the NCAA Division I hockey program, and as an assistant athletic director overseeing NCAA Men’s Soccer National Championships, NCAA Track and Field National Championships among others. Prior to St. Lawrence, Freeman was an assistant athletic director at Earlham College and was involved in the design and building of a new wellness/athletic facility.
