As a member of the senior leadership team, Jen Remick Allred is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the programs of physical activity as well as the membership programs which annually serve thousands of individuals with physical disabilities and chronic health conditions in the Birmingham region. A 1994 graduate of the University of Dayton with a B.A. in Communications, Allred returned to her hometown of Baltimore to work for the Mayor’s Office of Special Events and later served as a marketing manager for the Kennedy Krieger Institute. She moved to Alabama in 2000 and has been with Lakeshore ever since. In her tenure she has also worked in the fields of development, special events and communications for the organization. Allred has been honored to serve in a volunteer capacity as part of the communications staff for Team USA at the London 2012, Sochi 2014, Rio 2016, PyeongChang 2018 and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. She serves on the Board of the Alabama Association of Non Profits.
