Jazmin Zavala
Jazmin Zavala is a sports tourism professional with over a decade of experience in sales, customer service and strategic marketing. Currently serving as the sports sales manager at Visit Fort Wayne, she plays a pivotal role in positioning Fort Wayne/Allen County as a premier destination for sporting events. She leads efforts to attract, secure, and grow sports tourism by leveraging the county's top-tier athletic facilities and fostering strong partnerships with national governing bodies, institutions, sport club managers, and venue operators.
Zavala has been instrumental in the launch and development of the new Fort Wayne, Indiana Destination Sports brand, a transformative initiative aimed at elevating the community's visibility in the national and international sporting event market. Through her leadership, Fort Wayne secured its first-ever award of five NCAA championship events for 2027–2028, a milestone achievement that reflects both strategic foresight and strong institutional collaboration. She also successfully secured the largest international adaptive sports event to be hosted in Fort Wayne in October 2025, welcoming over 500 delegates from 20 countries during a 12-day period.
Beyond her sales success, she serves as a Statewide Co-Chair on the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Final Four Committee, the first representative from Fort Wayne to hold such a position. She is also a member of the grant committee for Team Indiana Sports Corp., sits on the Mastodon Athletic Advisory Board, and serves on the Compete Sports Network Adaptive Sport Committee, representing Indiana and the Midwest.
