Ezra Frech
Ezra Frech is a native of Los Angeles, a 2x Paralympian and 2x gold medalist who competes in the T63 100M, long jump and high jump. At 11 years of age, while watching the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games on TV, he was inspired to train for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. He made Team USA in 2019 at the age of 14 and in 2021 Ezra achieved his goal by competing in Tokyo. While he missed the podium in high jump by an inch in Tokyo (he placed 5th in HJ, 8th in LJ), last summer he won his first world championship and broke the world record in high jump at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championship.
This summer Frech represented Team USA at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and won gold medals in the 100M and high jump. His thrilling 100M win by .02 of a second captivated audiences worldwide and he also delivered a gold in high jump on Day 100 of his social media countdown. As an athlete and disability activist, Frech and his family founded Angel City Sports — an organization dedicated to providing year-round sport opportunities to kids, adults and veterans living with physical disabilities. He strongly believes in the power of manifesting goals and is on a mission to normalize disability globally.
