David Shaffer recently joined the NWBA, the longest standing and largest disabled sports organization in the world. He previously worked for Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville, FL where he spent the last five years and served as chief executive officer. During his time at RMH, Shaffer delivered strategic leadership and vision while ensuring operational and financial integrity. He established numerous cost-saving and risk-mitigating measures and cultivated and expanded relationships with healthcare, corporate, foundation and civic partners. Prior to his time with Ronald McDonald House, Shaffer spent three and a half years with Wounded Warrior Project’s National Operations Team, where his team was responsible for ensuring programmatic delivery and strategic alignment, calculating and reporting organizational analytics, and forecasting nationally.
