Dan Williams was named president and CEO of the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau in April 2025, where he is proud to champion Birmingham as a premier destination for meetings, conventions and visitors from around the world. He joined the GBCVB from Experience Columbus, where he spent 13 years, most recently as Chief Sales Officer. Prior to that he was Vice President of Sales at Positively Cleveland. Williams is a member of Destinations International, the Professional Convention Management Association, the American Society of Association Executives and the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals.
