Corinne Shigemoto, who has spent 18 years with USA Judo in various capacities, was named the national governing body’s chief executive officer in January 2025. Shigemoto has been at various times chief operating officer, director of membership services, director of event services, and director of manager/coach development and education for USA Judo. Shigemoto was a four-time national champion and alternate to the 1988 U.S. Olympic Team. She also served as women’s Olympic Team Coach at the 1996 Atlanta Games and Olympic Training Coach at the 1992 Barcelona Games.
