Cheryl Bond
Cheryl Bond has served as the chief financial officer for the USA Softball national office since November 2020. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing all accounting functions as it relates to the business of USA Softball as well as supervising the in-stadium finances related to the Women’s College World Series hosted annually in Oklahoma City. Bond joined USA Softball with more than 20 years of experience, including accounting and financial analysis with proven performance in computer-based accounting environments. Bond most recently served as the vice president and chief financial officer of the Oklahoma Attorneys Mutual Insurance Company where she managed and administered financial statements and business plans for the largest insurer for lawyers in the State of Oklahoma. Additionally, Bond previously served as audit manager for Price Waterhouse, LLP.
While working for USA Softball, Bond develops, implements, and maintains annual budgets while working with outside auditors and financial institutions for reports and annual audits. She assists in planning strategy and updating the Board of Directors on budget projections, cash flow, financial forecasts, and organizational issues.
