Anthony Williams serves as Director of the Negro Southern League Museum in Birmingham, Alabama. A Birmingham native and longtime public servant, Williams views his Directorship at the museum as an opportunity to serve the city that shaped him by preserving its history, strengthening its cultural institutions, and sharing Birmingham's rich sports legacy with new generations.

The Negro Southern League Museum preserves and interprets the history of African American baseball, with particular emphasis on the Negro Southern League and Birmingham's extraordinary place in that history. Through its collections, exhibitions, educational programs, and community partnerships, the museum views baseball as a window into the larger story of Birmingham, the state of Alabama, and the American South.
