Amanda C. Ford is a sports and events professional focused on attracting and supporting sporting events in Greater Miami & Miami Beach. Prior to her current role, she served with the Florida Sports Foundation, where she directed the Foundation’s grant program, managed relationships with Florida’s 38 regional sports commissions, and supported major statewide sporting events. 

 A Florida State University graduate with a master’s degree in sports administration from St. Thomas University, Ford also brings more than a decade of experience as an elementary educator and holds National Board Certification in Elementary Education. She is a member of WISE (Women in Sports & Events) and is passionate about creating opportunities at the intersection of sports, entertainment, tourism and community.
